Gayle S. Ospina, LMBT # 19256, owner of SoZo Massage LLC, is proud to announce that she will be practicing in Wendell, North Carolina at Vardy HPC Chiropractic.  Gayle and her husband Manuel, recently moved from Richmond, Virginia to Knightdale, North Carolina in the summer of 2020 when Manuel began working for Honeywell.  Gayle founded SoZo Massage while in Richmond and practiced there for seven years growing her business into a flourishing, thriving practice where people came to be refreshed and renewed.  Now she is excited to be able to offer her services to the people of the surrounding Raleigh areas as she and Manuel start a new adventure in North Carolina. 

 

Gayle studied massage therapy at The University of Richmond’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies, one of the top programs in the country.  She graduated in December of 2013 with a solid foundation in the art and science of massage.  Over the years Gayle has added to her knowledge and skills by attending continuing education courses and receiving certifications in: Lymphatic Massage, Kinesiology taping, Reflexology, and Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques (MAT).  Gayle has been a licensed by the Board Nursing in Virginia since 2014 and recently she received her licensed in North Carolina by The North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy.  She is also a long time member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals  

 

Gayle offers a variety of modalities such as relaxation, deep tissue, lymphatic massage, reflexology, prenatal, and sports and stretching massage. She is also able to use massage to treat clients with specifically diagnosed conditions such as, plantar fasciitis, tension headaches, SI joint dysfunction, and hip/neck/back chronic pain.  There are many benefits to regular massage including lowered blood pressure, increased circulation, reduced stress, decreases anxiety and depression and boosts serotonin and dopamine.  Regular massage is also beneficial for overall skin health. In her time off she enjoys exploring North Carolina with her husband on weekend trips.  They enjoy traveling together overseas doing mission work in Colombia and many other parts of the world.  Gayle is a passionate traveler and has been to over 50 countries throughout the years.  She also is an avid tennis player and loves playing with new friends in the Raleigh area. She and Manuel are both involved with her local church, Catch the Fire Raleigh Durham.
